Norwich Cathedral
Norwich Cathedral is a stunning example of Norman architecture, with a history dating back to 1096 when construction began under Bishop Herbert de Losinga. It was consecrated in 1101 and has since stood as a symbol of faith and craftsmanship in Norfolk, England. The cathedral has endured centuries of change, including damage during the 1272 riots, followed by repairs completed in 1278. Its cloisters, started in 1297, are the second largest in England. The spire, reaching 315 feet (96 meters), was rebuilt in 1480 after replacing an earlier wooden structure.
