British mastery of the iconic Chesterfield, by Winchester Furniture

Winchester Chesterfield

Our Trademark

Every Winchester piece carries our signature silk identification label, complete with date and serial number, your assurance that the furniture you own is an authentic Winchester original.

Leather

Leather is more than a covering; it is a statement of character and sophistication. We source only the finest full‑aniline hides, selected for their natural beauty, strength and ability to age gracefully. From raw material selection to tanning and finishing, every step is overseen with a craftsman’s eye to ensure each piece meets the Winchester standard.

Signature Winchester Techniques

Buttoning

Deep buttoning is a traditional craft passed down through generations, a hallmark of the iconic Chesterfield.

The Craftsman

Our upholsterers use time‑honoured techniques to create furniture that is both stylish and durable. Every detail is shaped by hand, ensuring each piece is unique.

Tufting - Pleating

Hand‑tufting and pleating add the final touch of refinement. These techniques require exceptional skill and give each piece its distinctive Winchester character.

Hand Studding

Every stud is individually applied by hand, making each Chesterfield truly one‑of‑a‑kind.

Leather Antiquing

We use traditional antiquing methods to enhance the natural beauty of the leather, giving each piece depth, warmth and a timeless patina.

Winchester furniture is not merely made, it is crafted. Each piece carries the legacy of centuries‑old British upholstery traditions, preserved and perfected in our workshop today.
