Craft & Construction
The Admiral is crafted using the same heritage methods applied to our classic seating, with every stage shaped by hand according to the principles outlined in our Craft & Upholstery Guide.
The frame is hand‑joined from solid hardwood, dowelled, glued and screwed for long‑term strength. The seat and back are upholstered by hand, with careful shaping and traditional padding techniques to ensure comfort and longevity.
The chair features a swivel and tilt mechanism, allowing for a balanced, adjustable sitting position suited to extended periods of work. The base is fitted with smooth‑running castors and finished in a style that complements the chair’s traditional form.
Every detail, from the leather cutting to the hand‑tacked upholstery, reflects the discipline and precision of true British craftsmanship.
