The Catherine Corner Sofa is a bold, architectural interpretation of the classic Chesterfield, designed for modern homes that still value traditional craftsmanship. Craft & Construction
The Catherine Corner is individually hand deep‑buttoned across the back, seat and square arms. Each pleat is shaped and each button is set by hand, creating a crisp, symmetrical diamond pattern that flows seamlessly around the corner section. The square arms require exceptional precision, as the buttoning must meet the edges perfectly without distortion, a hallmark of true British upholstery skill.
The frame is hand‑joined from solid hardwood, dowelled, glued and screwed for enduring strength. The corner configuration is reinforced internally to maintain sharp architectural lines and long‑term stability.
