The Coventry Chesterfield is our best‑selling model, a perfectly balanced blend of traditional British craftsmanship and modern versatility. With its classic deep buttoning, beautifully rolled arms and refined proportions, the Coventry delivers the timeless Chesterfield silhouette that customers recognise and love. Built on a hand‑joined hardwood frame and upholstered entirely by hand, it offers a comfortable, supportive sit and a presence that suits almost any interior style, from period homes to contemporary living spaces.
Craft & Construction
The Coventry is individually hand deep‑buttoned across the back and arms, with each pleat shaped by our skilled craftspeople to create a crisp, traditional diamond pattern. The scroll arms are generously padded and finished with individually hand‑nailed studs, placed one at a time for precision and longevity.
The frame is hand‑joined from solid hardwood, dowelled, glued and screwed for enduring strength. Every element is crafted using traditional British upholstery methods to ensure structure, comfort and long‑term durability.
