A refined interpretation of the classic Chesterfield, defined by deep buttoning, scroll arms, and a hand‑joined hardwood frame built for a lifetime of use.
Craft & Construction
Individually hand deep‑buttoned with sumptuously padded scroll arms, each pleat is shaped by our skilled craftspeople. The frame is hand‑joined from solid hardwood, dowelled, glued and screwed for enduring strength. Finished with individually hand‑nailed brass studs.
This piece is built using the same deep‑buttoning and hand‑tied techniques described in our Craft & Upholstery Guide, ensuring every sofa reflects true British maker skill rather than mass‑produced retail methods.
Made in England, One Piece at a Time
Every Winchester sofa is produced in small batches by trained upholsterers in England, maintaining the standards set out in our Workshop Principles and preserving the heritage of traditional British furniture making.
