Henry Corner Sofa Collection
Each Winchester piece is handmade in our British workshop using traditional upholstery methods passed down through generations. You can explore our full craft lineage in the Heritage Timeline, and the techniques behind every model are detailed in our Craft & Upholstery Guide, which outlines the traditional methods we use to build each piece.
The Henry Corner Sofa
The Henry Corner Sofa is a relaxed, contemporary‑heritage design created for modern family living. With its smooth, unbuttoned back and arms, soft fibre‑filled back cushions and generously padded fibre seat cushions, the Henry Corner offers a warm, inviting sit with a calm, lived‑in elegance. The clean leather panels and gently rolled arms retain the unmistakable Winchester silhouette, while the corner layout provides generous seating and a natural flow for open‑plan spaces. Built on a hand‑joined hardwood frame and upholstered entirely by hand, the Henry Corner delivers everyday comfort with enduring maker quality.

Craft & Construction
The Henry Corner is crafted with smooth, unbuttoned leather panels across the back, arms and seat base. This plain‑panelled style demands exceptional precision in leather cutting, stretching and hand‑tacking, as every seam must run true and every curve must be perfectly shaped.
Its defining comfort feature is the soft fibre back cushions and soft fibre seat cushions, shaped and filled by hand to create a relaxed, welcoming sit. The corner configuration is fully sprung and reinforced to maintain comfort and structure across the extended seating area.
The frame is hand‑joined from solid hardwood, dowelled, glued and screwed for enduring strength. Every element is crafted using the traditional British upholstery methods outlined in our Craft & Upholstery Guide, ensuring structure, comfort and long‑term durability.

Made in England, One Piece at a Time
Every Winchester sofa is produced in small batches by trained upholsterers in England, maintaining the standards set out in our Workshop Principles and preserving the heritage of traditional British furniture making.
