Victoria Chesterfield Collection
Each Winchester Chesterfield is handmade in our British workshop using traditional upholstery methods passed down through generations. You can explore our full craft lineage in the Heritage Timeline, which documents how our techniques have evolved since the early makers.
The Victoria Collection
The Victoria Chesterfield is a graceful, elegantly proportioned interpretation of the classic British design. With its gently flared arms, refined silhouette and beautifully balanced buttoning, it brings a softer, more feminine character to the Chesterfield tradition. Crafted on a hand‑joined hardwood frame and upholstered entirely by hand, the Victoria offers a poised, comfortable sit that suits both period interiors and modern homes seeking a touch of heritage refinement.

Craft & Construction
The Victoria is individually hand deep‑buttoned across the back and arms, with each pleat shaped by our skilled craftspeople to create a smooth, flowing profile. The subtly flared arms soften the traditional Chesterfield form while retaining the sculpted precision of heritage upholstery.
The frame is hand‑joined from solid hardwood, dowelled, glued and screwed for enduring strength. Each piece is finished with individually hand‑nailed studs, placed one at a time to complement the model’s refined proportions.
This model is crafted using the same deep‑buttoning and hand‑tied techniques described in our Craft & Upholstery Guide, ensuring every Victoria reflects true British maker skill rather than mass‑produced retail methods.

Made in England, One Piece at a Time
Every Winchester sofa is produced in small batches by trained upholsterers in England, maintaining the standards set out in our Workshop Principles and preserving the heritage of traditional British furniture making.
